This piece was designed to obscure the view into the physiotherapy gym. The butterfly is used as a symbol of transformation from a static to mobile state. The designs on the wings are derived from photographs of objects within the gym. It is possible to identify crutches, Zimmer frames, walking sticks, exercise bicycles, Medicine balls, a trampoline, the gym ceiling and the artist's shadow.
